Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?

​Great news! We have a feature that lets you pay online! View your balance, submit electronic checks, or pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover from any computer. You can even submit maintenance requests. Just log onto our website and click the "Resident's" tab and then click the "Pay Rent" link. This will take you to our resident portal. There is a convenience charge for this service.

Do you allow pets?

​No, unfortunately, we do not allow pets.

How are roommates matched?

​Rooms are assigned first come first serve. If you have a specific layout/floor request please include it in the "Bedroom/Floor Requested" section of the application. Please note this is a request and is not guaranteed that we are able to accommodate the request. Please also make sure that you include any preferred roommates in the "Requested Roommate" section. If you do not have roommates, please note that you will be matched based on roommate questionnaire in your application.”

What utilities are included in my monthly installment?

Electric, heat, internet, garbage, water, and sewer are all included in your monthly installment; however, liability insurance is not included.

If I no longer want to sign an agreement will I be refunded?

All Application and Administrative Fee's are non-refundable as long as space is available for a prospective resident. If a pre-payment of rent or other non-application based fees are paid, then this money will be refunded. Please note that a refund could take anywhere from 60-90 days to process.

What types of agreements are available?

All of our agreements are per person for 12 installments. At Fieldstone, you are not responsible for anyone else, including roommates. There is no liability on your end to pay the rent of any other resident or roommate. Please keep in mind that the price you are seeing for our floor plans is the price per person, per bed for each installment.

If I am over 21 do I need a guarantor?

​Yes. All agreements are required to have a guarantor. If an approved guarantor cannot be obtained, Greystar will accept a prepayment of one and a half installments.

Will you send me a bill for each installment?

We do not send any invoices, but for your convenience, you can use our online resident portal to check your balance at any time. The front page of your agreement dictates exactly when each payment is due.

Can I sublet my room?

We unfortunately do not allow subletting; however, we do allow agreement reassignments. Please contact the office to learn more about this process and how to complete it accurately.

Is parking included?

There are two parking options for students living at Fieldstone. Students may choose a reserved spot in the Fieldstone lot. The cost for these spots is $125 per month. These spots will not be available until January 2024. The other option is to purchase a permit for a spot in Lot 22. Parking spaces have been set aside for Fieldstone residents and are available for the 2023/2024 academic year.  The Fieldstone team will work with you and the parking services on getting this reserved. Please call the Fieldstone office for more information.

When is my first payment due?

The first installment is due Aug 1st.

What furniture is included?

Your room will include a full XL bedframe and mattress, desk, desk chair, and (2) two-drawer stackable dresser. The common space will include a sofa, armchair (4 bedrooms only), side table, media stand, coffee table, either a dining table with chairs or bar stools, and stainless-steel kitchen appliances that include a refrigerator, microwave, oven, and dishwasher.

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?

You are welcome to bring additional furniture with you, but don't forget that we fully furnish all our apartments. If you wish to replace some of our furniture and use yours instead, you will be responsible for finding storage for our furniture and putting the items back before your agreement end date.

When can I move in?

Our Fall move-in date is 08/25/2023. The agreement will run from August 25th, 2023 through July 31st, 2024 as a 12-installment agreement.

What is a “renewal?”

​Are you loving it here and can’t imagine leaving at the end of your agreement? By signing a renewal, you get to extend your stay at our community!”

I'm graduating in December; can I still renew?

Can I request different roommates?

We want you to be comfortable here, and we will do everything we can to accommodate your roommate requests.

If I renew, will my guarantor have to sign again?

Yes, your guarantor will have to sign again for your new agreement.

If I renew, do I have to move out then move back in?

When you renew and choose to stay in your current spot, no moving is required!

I just moved in, is it too early to renew?

Renewing now will provide the most benefit to you. By signing early, you will secure your space for next year and take advantage of the best pricing available.

How do I renew?

We know how busy you are, so we have made the process as quick and easy as possible. Renewing is as easy as "1,2,3!" Just follow these steps:

1. Open your renewal email from us.
2. Review the terms and click "Accept"
3. Follow the prompts to sign the new agreement.

When do I start paying the new rate amount?

The first installment for your renewal agreement will be due on August 1st, 2024.
